Occupational Therapist

Occupation therapy is a part of rehabilitation medicine in peadiatric that analyse why a child maybe struggling to carry out specific tasks to then devise a treatment plan to address the specific issues which can either be due to a physical or mental challenges, Occupational Therapist handles patients not limited to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, sensory processing disorder, childhood mental health, behaviour problems, learning problems, cognitive cases. Peadiatric OT focus on the child developmental milestone, play skills, education/vocational rehabilitation, activity of daily living (self-help skills). The goal is to reintegrate the child to level of maximum functional independent back into the society.
